A lively piano duet by Robert Schumann which while innocent in mood is enhanced with a growing intensity. As well as adding sophistication to any project this piece is well suited to playful or active, busy scenes and features a 'question/answer' interplay of a cascading melody between soloists
2 Schumann: Etude No.2 En Forme de Canon Op.56 - Robert Schumann Schumann: Etude No.2 En Forme de Canon Op.56 Robert Schumann 2 Piano Duet
A Beautiful piano duet by Robert Schumann which while innocent in mood is tinged with a little sadness and longing. As well as adding sophistication to any project this piece is well suited to ambiguous or pensive scenes and features a 'question/answer' interplay of a soulful melody between soloists
3 Schumann: Etude No.2 En Forme de Canon Op.56 Arranged - Robert Schumann Arr. Gosnell Schumann: Etude No.2 En Forme de Canon Op.56 Arranged Robert Schumann Arr. Gosnell 2 Piano Duet, Chamber Orchestra

4 Chopin Waltz Op 64 No 2 in C# Minor - Frederic Chopin Chopin Waltz Op 64 No 2 in C# Minor Frederic Chopin Solo Piano
With a yearning melancholy and sorrowful expression this is one of Chopin's waltzes that explores a deeper plane of emotion. Made famous in the 20th Century by Arthur Rubenstein and Liberace and also featured in the Film 'Arthur' this piece for solo piano speaks elegantly of a subtle love and loss
5 Schubert: Impromptu No. 2 in Eb Op. 90 - Franz Schubert Schubert: Impromptu No. 2 in Eb Op. 90 Franz Schubert Solo Piano
The second of Schubert's first set of Impromptus from 1827, Op. 90, No. 2 (D. 899/2), begins with carefree rapidly flowing triplets in E flat major, but as the first section moves to its close, the harmonies turn darker. The central section is a passionate dance in B minor building through bleak modulations to crashing fortissimo sforzandos. The outer section returns to E flat major through an exquisite modulation but is forever changed by the dark central B minor, and it comes as no surprise that the central dance returns as the piece's end, but closing this time in Eb Minor. This piece shows a contrast between flirtation and passion, between innocence and experience and would perfectly suit a project needing a classical vibe - but with contrasting content. Or of course, just use the bits that fit!
