FE lies in the hinterland between fiction and documentary. The content is unscripted but there is sufficient 'contrivance' to guarantee a weekly formula. Some formats are competitive - but we have created a 'Winners & Losers' showreel specifically for those. Examples would include 'Who Do You Think You Are', 'Embarassing Bodies', 'Supernanny', 'Wife Swap' etc. Following a format, the individuals being 'observed' usually go through an emotional journey to reach a state of enlightened conclusion.

At first glance they appear fortunate, but in reality are in a bit of a mess and need an expert to come in and offer some helpful advice - which in all probability they won't take. Sophisticated strings and woodwind joined by the obligatory FE Celeste.

Starts with a simple piano theme joined in turn by Mandolin, acoustic guitar, drums and syncopated string quartet, building into a confident optimistic high energy rock track. A build repeat and final fade offer much opportunity to edit for Corporate, TV, Film, Sports, Website, Documentary or Drama

Between a rock and a hard place, our hero faces a difficult choice which he must make alone. He thinks over the options and finally reaches a decision and sets about his new course. Written for alto flute, string quartet and tablas. Suitable for dramas or documentaries where decisions must be made.

Quirky ensemble piece in 7/4 with an upbeat groove. Edgy romantic or black comedy or children's fantasy drama. Fun, happy and festive with a twist. Lots of unusual percussion, driven by bongo/conga rhythm and jazz bass. Cool vibe for ads, corporate or film/tv.

Imagine yourself walking or driving in the Italian countryside, pausing at a local market to buy fresh food and vegetables before settling down back at your villa to watch the sunset. Some FE subjects are true eccentrics. This individual has a unique world view, which although perfectly rational to them, seems to us a little 'off'. This is their soundtrack.
